The CD Joy Rising needs to come with a warning: Listen only if you are prepared to be humming, singing and dancing all day long with a sunny disposition and an ear to ear smile- and then some! Driving is more enjoyable with Joy Rising playing but careful with what your hands and feet are doing— again this CD needs a warning!

This is the newest offering from Virginia-based Claudia Carawan and it is a great CD. Claudia has a lot of soul and it’s reflected in her rhythms and vocals. She is just plain funky….. Claudia calls her music “Positively soulful music” and this collection of songs is about finding and sustaining joy. And, believe me, you’ll be joyful while you listen to these positive songs and hopefully, that joy will sustain you throughout your day.
